ASI Headquarters, Oct. 15 2018

ASI will host the "ISS4Mars" workshop on Monday October 15th 2018.

The workshop will address opportunities to use the International Space Station (ISS) as analog for exploration missions beyond low Earth orbit in particular with respect to human health and performance as well as operations aspects, and will discuss possibilities to enhance the ISS so that it can even better serve as such an analogue capacity.

ASI and ESA support the workshop due to its relevance and value to prepare future human exploration missions. Experts from NASA will attend and contribute to the initiative.

The initiative is supported by Thales Alenia Space.
